APW - Waltham, 17J, 12S, 14K multicolor gold original Solidarity HC with rose gold horse's head to rear surrounded by multicolor floral detail, initialed rose gold shield to front surrounded by multicolor floral detail, gold cuvette with 1918 presentation, white enamel DS dial with script "Waltham" signature (of the style typically seen among Riverside Maximus grade mvts), fancy gilt Louis XV style hands, SW-SS, nickel damascene, s#20728099. Gross weight of assembled watch 44.8 dwt (69.8 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: NR, fully wound, balance not moving freely, overhaul needed, virtually mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, few minimal micro-fine scratches; dial with fracture at lower-right corner of center section above 5, tiny fractures to inner rim of outer chapter at 8:30, very faint hl below seconds-register, infinitesimal fracture to tip of lower-left corner of center section above 7; hands cosmetically excellent but a portion of minute hand hub has been removed presumably to facilitate its fit; case shows virtually no wear, no dents or dings, superb engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal.
